*Family Promise of Beaufort Country: Bring Home the Children’s Dinner & Auction May 19, 2011 at the Hampton Hall Club House Over 225 people enjoyed a lovely dinner at Hampton Hall Club House and bid on many live and silent auction items. All proceeds from the event will benefit Family Promise’s “Bring Home the Children” Campaign to help eradicate childhood homelessness in Beaufort County. To date, Family Promise has changed the lives of 15 families with 28 children, assisting them to achieve lasting independence, hope and a home. |
*Sun City Women’s 9-Hole Golf Club Stokes Brown Toyota supported the Sun City Women’s 9-Hole Golf Club Rally for the Cure Golf Tournament benefit for breast cancer. Together we raised, $24,195 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in 2010. We are a proud to sponsor this Rally again in September 2011. We currently are sponsoring 18 holes at the Tournament to help "Find a Cure!" Stay tuned for more updates on this event. |

*Polar Bear Run Bear Foot Sports presents the 2nd Annual Bluffton New Year’s Day Polar Bear 5K on Thursday January 1st at 10am. The 5K Run & Health Walk will start at Sea Turtle Cinema in Bluffton and will take participants down The Buckwalter Parkway, The Bluffton Parkway and thru Buckwalter Place to finish back at Sea Turtle Cinema. |
*Sun City Softball Club Stokes Brown Toyota was part of the Sun City Softball Club’s opening day. The tradition of throwing out the first pitch was a little different. Stokes Brown Toyota donated a pitching machine to the Softball Club. We were fortunate that sales manager & new resident, Bill Bowler, fed the machines for this year’s first pitch. |
*Helping Hands Project
![]() Stokes Brown Toyota of Hilton Head was proud to sponsor the Helping Hands Project which provides support for families who are in need due to various situations. The project will provide food packages to up to 60 families for both Thanksgiving and Christmas that will feed a family of four. We hope to continue working with this project in 2012. |
*Bluffton Eagles Action Committee
Bluffton Eagles Action Committee (a non-profit organization) held a back to school FUN DAY, August 13th in Bluffton at the Sam Bennett sports complex. The event was indeed a success as they were able to equip 150 children with the approprate supplies this school year. Stokes Brown Toyota of Hilton Head is proud to support the Bluffton Eagles Action Committee and we look forward to continuing a relationship in the future and taking part in other events. |
